Wheel Voices to the Max!

We did it!  Monologues combined with live music and recorded sound, wheelchair-based movement, theatrical lighting, and projections in a three-story atrium specifically designed for maximum wheelchair accessibility. Wheel Voices to the Max! was a great success in Vancouver theatre!

I enjoyed everything – The stories! The emotion, the dancing!

This multimedia theatrical presentation was created and performed by a team of emerging and professional artists with disabilities. The stories in Wheel Voices to the Max! were based on the lives of real people with disabilities and captured a wide variety of experiences.

Directed by James Sanders, an amazing production team was behind this site-specific community project, which took place in the atrium of the Blusson Spinal Cord Centre in May 2013.
