Shows in Development

A new year brings many new and exciting projects! This year, we’ve collaborated with artists in our community to create a new project based on their experiences navigating the city as persons with disabilities.

Disability Tour Bus – One Wild Ride!

Disability Tour Bus promises to be an immersive, site-specific plunge into the urban jungle with the City of Vancouver as a central character.

The project will reveal that disability is characterized by certain social and cultural roles due not only to physical barriers, but also by attitudes put forward by society.

We’re thrilled to be working with Radix Theatre’s Andrew Laurenson, who brings 25 years of experience in creating site-specific performances. He was the driving mind behind The Sniffy the Rat Bus Tour where the audience traveled by luxury tour bus to the Vancouver sites that were integral to Sniffy’s story.
